1. SMS Program Description
Majistic Locs, LLC ("Majistic Locs", "we", "us") operates an SMS messaging program to send appointment-related notifications to clients and locticians who have opted in. Our toll-free number is +1 (866) 536-2998.
Messages you may receive include:
- Appointment confirmation texts
- Appointment reminder texts (24 hours and same-day before your appointment)
- Booking updates (cancellations, reschedules)
- Account security notifications (verification codes)
2. How to Opt In
Consent is never pre-checked. You opt in by explicitly checking a consent box or enabling an SMS toggle in one of two places in our app:
- At checkout during booking — when providing your phone number to confirm an appointment
- In your account notification settings — under Dashboard → Settings → Notifications
Both opt-in points are shown below with the exact consent language the user agrees to. Consent is not a condition of purchase or use of the platform.

Booking Checkout — SMS Consent Checkbox
Location: booking payment step, directly above the payment form. Unchecked by default — user must actively tick.

“By checking this box, I agree to receive recurring automated SMS messages from Majistic Locs, LLC at the phone number provided — including appointment confirmations, reminders, and booking updates. Message frequency varies (typically 2–4 messages per booking). Reply HELP for help, STOP to unsubscribe. Msg & data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Account Settings — SMS Reminders Toggle
Location: Dashboard → Settings → Notifications. Off by default — user must actively enable.

3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your appointment activity. Typically you will receive 2-4 messages per scheduled appointment (confirmation, reminder, and any updates). If you have no upcoming appointments, you will not receive messages.
4. How to Opt Out (Stop)
You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by any of these methods:
- Reply STOP to any message from +1 (866) 536-2998
- Turn off the "SMS reminders" toggle in your account settings
- Email support@majisticlocs.com with the subject "SMS Opt Out"
After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message. You will no longer receive SMS messages unless you opt in again.

6. Message & Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan. Majistic Locs does not charge for SMS messages, but your carrier may. Contact your wireless provider for details about your messaging plan.
7. Supported Carriers
SMS messaging is supported on all major U.S. carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and most regional carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
8. Privacy
Your phone number and SMS opt-in status are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We will not sell, rent, or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes. Your information is only shared with our SMS service provider (Twilio) for the purpose of delivering messages.
